18/10/20 Vodafone New Trade-in Tool
SAVE £360 ON THE NEW IPHONE 12 JUST BY TRADING IN YOUR OLD HANDSET WITH VODAFONE 88% of Brits miss out savings by not trading in their phones As the hotly anticipated iPhone 12 Series is announced, Vodafone reveals that Brits could be missing out on £6.9 billion of savings by not trading in their old phones. Brits with an iPhone X or above, could be saving a huge £360 on a 24 month contract on the new iPhone 12 with Vodafone, just by trading in their old handset. The YouGov survey reveals that we massively underestimate the value of our phones, with almost a third (28%) thinking an iPhone X is worth under £100, when in reality its average market trade-in value is over double that (£220). Shockingly, 4.7 million Brits admitted to having thrown a phone away in a general waste bin, rather than trading in or disposing it properly. TV Presenter and Consumer Affairs Champion, Michelle Ackerley, has been appointed as Vodafone’s first Chief Trade-in Officer to help spread the word. Her recommendation is to go the MyVodafone app to try out the new trade-in tool and find out in just a few minutes and few short steps, the instant and guaranteed saving available on the new iPhone 12.
