Real-life Mr & Mrs White-Christmas swapped the grey skies of the UK for the white sands of Antigua to enjoy the Caribbean’s first ever ‘White Christmas’ this December, jetting off on honeymoon and returning home before the UK’s latest travel restrictions were announced.
Childhood sweethearts, Tilly Christmas and Kieran White from Bridport in Dorset, spread cheer when the news they had become Mr and Mrs White-Christmas went viral, after they tied the knot a day before the second lockdown. The White-Christmas’ have had a busy year with Kieran working on the front line for a supermarket and Tilly starting her final year of university.
Virgin Atlantic flew the White-Christmas’ on the honeymoon the pandemic denied them, as a thank you for bringing a smile to the nation during what has been a tough year for many. They jetted off to stay at Sandals Grande Antigua Resort & Spa and enjoy some of the tropical Caribbean island’s most iconic activities, from visiting Shirley Heights scenic lookout to kayaking and sailing in the crystal-clear Caribbean waters.
