A Place in the Sun TV presenter Scarlette Douglas unveils the ‘Beach in a Box’ kit, which has been created by easyJet holidays to help sun-starved Brits banish the winter blues. The self-assembly kit includes 20kg of sand, a UVB lamp, a Mediterranean backdrop, pina coladas, an aroma diffuser and wave sound simulator. Wednesday 25th January 2023. The ‘Beach in a Box’ kit has been created following a study of 1,000 adults, which found that over 64% of Brits suffer with the January blues.
